After an awkward moment of staring, he sighs a bit and drops his forehead to Gilgamesh's chest, breathing him in and trying to decide what he's even meant to do right now.]

[Gilgamesh can practically taste that confused, self-conscious eagerness, and it draws out something akin to sympathy. It isn't quite that, Gilgamesh has little regard for few people other than himself, but it's a fondness that leads him to be a bit merciful]

[But he doesn't want to. He doesn't know what he wants in all honesty, but he's pretty sure it's all something he'll regret. Still, despite his words, he kisses Gilgamesh's collar and gives into the urge to bite.]

[He gasps, breathless and satisfied before a chuckle escapes his lips]

But you won't, will you?

[He doesn't answer -- but he does clap a hand over Gil's mouth. His face presses into the other man's neck, leaving another bite as his free hand creeps down to pause with fingertips on the button of Gilgamesh's pants.

After a slow breath against bruising skin, he thumbs it open and pulls down the zipper.]

[Even with Kirei's hand clapped over his mouth, Gilgamesh insists on purring out words out of approval, muffled but undoubtedly satisfied. He's quite proud of what he's nudged Kirei into, enough to be more patient and charitable than he's normally capable of. Anyone else would have been flipped and fucked by now; Kirei is special, something that Gilgamesh wants to savor]

[He doesn't have to hear the words to hear the tone. It's making his heart race, and overriding the part of him still insisting he stop here. After a deep breath, and without making eye contact, he finally slips his hand into Gil's underwear and gets to work. At the least he knows how to use his hand -- he's not that pious.]

[He laughs as Kirei finally touches him just so. Gilgamesh will call the moment he felt pleasure at the hands of Kotomine Kirei a resounding victory. He'll smile as Kirei strokes his cock, and gently circles his hand around Kirei's wrist, guiding his hand.]

[The help is appreciated -- and needed. Doing for himself isn't the same as doing for someone else, especially when he's feeling so awkward and nervous about the whole thing. He's not sure how to move forward either. Maybe Gil will go away if he does this much.]

[Go away? Not now. Not when he's gotten a glimpse of what Kirei's been hiding underneath that mantle of piety. Instead he nudges Kirei's hand from his mouth so that he can smile up at the other man, an insincere parody of a loving expression.

Fingers tighten around Kirei's wrist, urging.]

Kirei, I don't believe for one moment that you're satisfied with just this.

At the moment I'm more concerned with your satisfaction.

[It's a mumble, flat and not at all affectionate. It isn't that he's worried about pleasing Gilgamesh. It's just that he wants him to feel happy enough to leave.

That aside, Gil's fiddling with his hands might, just now, be giving a glimpse of the scars that lie beneath his sleeves.]

[Casually his hand slides up Kirei's arm, pushing the sleeve up just a bit]

And these are?

[Finally, Gilgamesh has found a sore spot. Kirei's face goes from blank to troubled in an instant, and then right back to impassive nearly as quickly. He pulls his hands back, and sits back to get out of Gilgamesh's range.]

Penance.

[He sits up just as quickly, grasping at Kirei's wrist. Each tiny discovery makes Gilgamesh all the more fascinated -- something negligible like personal space won't stand in his way]

I'm surprised...! Kirei, you've sinned before?

[A kiss is pressed to those scars]

And I had wanted to be your first.

[He makes a small sound of distaste, jerking his wrist in an attempt to free it. Some of the scars are old, some are fresh scabs, but it's clear he's been performing this "penance" for some time.]

[He let's Kirei's wrist loose but stays close - Kirei won't dodge this so easily]

And what misdeeds warranted such punishment?

But I'm curious! What secrets are you keeping, Kirei? They're dark, I can see that much, disgusting things kept stashed away so they don't mar your pristine reputation.

[He drapes himself over Kirei lazily, kissing his neck]

I'm close enough now, aren't I? I've found out enough to make people ask questions -- why not tell me so I don't try to satisfy my curiosity elsewhere?

What purpose do you have in wanting to know? What makes you so curious you want to threaten me?

[He pushes Gilgamesh away from his neck, clearly grumpy now that the situation has entered such uncomfortable territory.]

I have no purpose, only a desire. I wish to know, and I wish to get what I want. Is that so foreign to you, Kirei?

[He'll sit back when shoved, though he watches Kirei carefully]

No one would believe I let you in this room, let alone... touched you.

You have that much faith in your peers? Have you not seen some of them? They're vultures, you know, picking up bits to pass around.

[Kirei's admission does little to loosen Gilgamesh's metaphorical claws. He knows Kirei conceded without answering because there is no room to argue, because austere facades are perhaps the easiest to shatter with a bit of doubt. He'll hang onto that, sink his nails in deeper, and see how much he can bleed out of Kirei.]

There isn't? But Kirei, I have not seen any other choir boy undertake such penance!

[He doesn't talk to those people much at all -- details.]

Are you so pious? Or are your thoughts that black? Have you dreamed of having me here, or does it go deeper than that? I wonder...
