[He makes a small sound of distaste, jerking his wrist in an attempt to free it. Some of the scars are old, some are fresh scabs, but it's clear he's been performing this "penance" for some time.]

And what misdeeds warranted such punishment?

But I'm curious! What secrets are you keeping, Kirei? They're dark, I can see that much, disgusting things kept stashed away so they don't mar your pristine reputation.

[He drapes himself over Kirei lazily, kissing his neck]

I'm close enough now, aren't I? I've found out enough to make people ask questions -- why not tell me so I don't try to satisfy my curiosity elsewhere?

What purpose do you have in wanting to know? What makes you so curious you want to threaten me?

[He pushes Gilgamesh away from his neck, clearly grumpy now that the situation has entered such uncomfortable territory.]

I have no purpose, only a desire. I wish to know, and I wish to get what I want. Is that so foreign to you, Kirei?

[He'll sit back when shoved, though he watches Kirei carefully]

No one would believe I let you in this room, let alone... touched you.

You have that much faith in your peers? Have you not seen some of them? They're vultures, you know, picking up bits to pass around.

...I have not indulged in anything beyond thought. There's nothing to find out.

[Kirei's admission does little to loosen Gilgamesh's metaphorical claws. He knows Kirei conceded without answering because there is no room to argue, because austere facades are perhaps the easiest to shatter with a bit of doubt. He'll hang onto that, sink his nails in deeper, and see how much he can bleed out of Kirei.]

There isn't? But Kirei, I have not seen any other choir boy undertake such penance!

[He doesn't talk to those people much at all -- details.]

Are you so pious? Or are your thoughts that black? Have you dreamed of having me here, or does it go deeper than that? I wonder...

My dreams do not generally run to the sexual.

[He sits, arranged carefully on the bed, relaxed but ready to wind himself around Kirei again]

If you do not seek penance for lust, there are other sins. What are they again...? Greed, jealousy, sloth, wrath...

[He doesn't want to talk about this. He also doesn't see how it's Gilgamesh's business to talk about it. The rumors that could come from him saying they'd had sexual contact would be a problem, but it's altogether likely they would start anyway since Gil was seen going into his room, and at least at this rate he could plausibly deny it.

So instead of answering, he suddenly stands, then turns to pick his classmate up without warning or ceremony. He can keep a straight face even if Gil's clothes are still in disarray, and he has every intention of depositing the other man in the hall.]

[WHAT THE--

He kicks when Kirei picks him up, squirms, but is, unfortunately, not a solid mass of muscle the way Kirei is.]

YOU...!

What are you doing?!

[An answer is not required! He drops Gil to the floor in the hall, then turns to go back inside, fully intending to lock the door.]

[There's no way for him to really land gracefully. He just tumbles to the ground, though he scrambles up and sticks his foot between the door and the door frame]

What. Were. You doing?

[Well congratulations Gilgamesh, you stopped the door from closing! But it doesn't stop Kirei from slamming it, it just means Gil's foot is in the path of the door when he does.]

Go away.

[He shouts, and he's loud about it.]

ANSWER ME, FOOL! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?

[And then he slams a fist into the door, hoping the noise will at least get Kirei to open the door a little to let his foot out]

That I want you to leave.

[Opens the door a bit, just to try to slam it closed again.]

[Another shout, still loud, almost like he's trying to draw attention.]

You want me to go without my foot, mongrel?!

Then pull it back and go. Quiet.

[NOPE!!!! He's going to scream as loud as he can manage, all without budging an inch. Enjoy that, Kirei.]

[UGH why does this weirdo have to be so annoying?]

That's juvenile behavior, you know.

Then you will let me back inside?

Now that you've alerted the entire building to your presence, it would only be more suspicious to let you in.
