[Gilgamesh lets himself back inside and leaves the wine bottle, now half empty, on the kitchen counter before heading back upstairs. He's calm in a drunkenly eager sort of way, and has allowed himself to be convinced there's no way such a spell could fail.]
There's dead silence as Gil comes up the stairs. Just as he gets to Tokiomi's door it opens and Kariya comes stumbling out, looking worn out and less than pleased.]
[He definitely, absolutely lacks the delicacy, but Gilgamesh has no intention of ever admitting that. With the threat of death gone, he doesn't have any desire to remain away from Tokiomi, and so he pushes the bedroom door open and immediately takes a seat on the bed. He'll wait - not long, of course, a man only has so much patience. But for this? He doesn't mind learning to have a measure more.]
[He doesn't look much better than he did earlier today, to be honest. He's still deteriorated and in a bad place. What he isn't is dead. His colour is better though -- there's some vitality that wasn't there an hour ago.
It takes him a little while to wake. He is worn down, after all. But when he does, the first thing he sees is Gil, and that makes him smile faintly.]
[Gilgamesh is spread out across the empty half of the bed, smelling faintly of wine and slowly entering the sleepy tail-end of his tipsiness. When Tokiomi smiles, he returns the gesture with a small, contented smile of his own.]
I am glad to see you still smile after causing such a stir.

[The good wine outweighs the abundance of snakes, somehow]

[He gulps down the last of his glass of wine and looks over his shoulder back inside.]
...it's been too long. I trust I can go see him now?

You can go check if you want, but if he hasn't left don't open the door.

[He does not like that. You can't just call people yours, Gilgamesh!!]
Anyway, did someone tell you about the side effect?

The old man told me enough. It seems his life is now my responsibility.

[Y e p . He's just going to assume that everything is okay and head for the door]

You might want to thank me that you're going to have any more sex at all.

[But, well... Kariya almost has a point, and Gil knows that much. So, well... B( Just this once]
Still, you've performed accordingly. I'll find an opportunity for thanks shortly.

[hrrrgh he does not really want to leave right now. He's not sure Gil has the delicacy to handle the inevitable freakout when Tokiomi wakes up.
Buuut he knows it's a bad idea to start a fight over that, so he grumbles and leaves anyway.]
