[First day in court and the energetic girl dressed oddly like a liberal arts student is exploring. Except she spots a familiar face down one street and not one to ever halt her general impulses, she trails him immediately. It takes less than three minutes to confirm who it is and less than thirty seconds after that before a girl is hurdling herself at Kida's back, arms outstretched to wrap around his neck and press him in an overly enthusiastic tackle of a hug. Assuming she gets that far.]
[For almost half a year since the Yellow Scarves incident life had been relatively peaceful. School was the same and her friends were the same but now that May was approaching Anri noticed something off about Kida. It wasn't something she could entirely put her finger on; it was just a feeling. He was restless, and irritable though not in a way anyone else would notice. But Anri did, because she watched quietly, all the faces he made when he thought no one was looking, when he was watching Mikado.]
[For a while she thought maybe it was the weather, or something that would pass, but the closer May got the more agitated Kida seemed. She wasn't imagining it. She had her children watch him too, and they reported that his movements were strange and hard to track sometimes. So after school one day, while Mikado was fulfilling one of their class rep duties, she bowed out and found Kida and called out to him. Fidgeting and looking down for a moment, before lifting her head with determination, she spoke in a voice both soft and set in purpose. It might have looked like the beginning of a confession.]
[It's a rooftop across from Tokyu Hands. What a cliche setting. Rather, Aoba's kind of enjoying it. It's the same place the Black Rider was seen all this times. Well, one time, every time the same time or different. He used to only watch it on the news or youtube footage of people's cellphones, but lately he's taken to appearing in person to see the event. Though it doesn't always happen like that. So one can't say it's an entirely predictable occurrence each time the world resets.]
[Still it's the same rooftop. It's a fairly handy, unused place, where he can see anyone approaching and no one can casually listen in. So even if it is cliche, it's not just for show. It's been several timelines since he "woke up" and lately he's pretty sure Kida Masaomi has been kind of suspicious of him. Well that's alright, he's been suspicious of Kida for longer than he's been aware of the repeating time. It's really long overdue they had a chat. Especially when Kida's done rude things like kill him in middle school before. Not that it ever helped.]
[So he sits on the edge of the roof, heedless of the sheer drop, and swings his legs as he plays with his cell phone. And then when the person he's invited up here arrives, he looks up with a smile, all bright and admiring like he plays in school.]
Senpai! I'm really glad you could make it, I'm sorry it's such short notice.
[ This is the third time that the police have been called, during one of the "outings" of Blue Square. It's obvious, really, that they would be called when a group of boys is always seen around the area that gunshots often go off. It's annoying, though, that they don't understand. There's a reason that the injured people that are found at the scene are people who have generally been... less favourable, in society.
This is the first time that the chase has been so close. They haven't been caught, yet - Of course they haven't, because if they'd been caught there wouldn't be a this time - But this third time was extremely, extremely close. They've ducked into an alley, somewhere - A tiny wedge between two buildings that he's not quite sure he remembers what they house. ]
