Cloudy with a chance of... kittens?

[It was a day with nothing to do, and Mukuro was spending it mingling with the crowd, taking amusement at the differences in tourists and natives in old Rome. It was more comfortable in Italy, really -- the words around him filtered through his mind much more easily than the still slightly awkward Japanese, and there was no pausing to second-guess the meanings of signs and directions. Really, it was such a pain to keep up a smooth appearance when one wasn't entirely sure whether the person giving you orders was telling you that they were happy or spicy.

On another note, the weather was so much milder, warm and balmy, and simply made walking around generally more pleasant. Of course, regardless of the weather, it was never any fun to trip over a box on the side of the street. Quick reflexes kept him from losing his balance, but he felt a spark of irritation as he looked down to kick the box out of the way. Only before he could, he noticed its contents -- five tiny, mewing, squirming kittens.

It was a whim, yes -- but he wondered, if Sawada Tsunayoshi was afraid of dogs, how did he feel about cats? Well, this would be a convenient way to find out. He stooped to close the box, then hefted it into his arms before turning on his heel and heading back in the direction of the base. It'd take awhile to get there, but he could stand the walk.]

[ --who are you again, and why are you bringing strays into the base? Tsuna's just come out of a meeting (one that Mukuro should have been in attendance for, but surprise), and walking down the hallways, a slight headache building.

And when he turns the corner, who does he run into but-- ]

[Reflexes again - he stops in time to avoid running into Tsuna, but quickly shoves the box into his arms with a smile. The kittens are pretty quiet at the moment, but they may start mewing again at any time.]

[ He blinks down at the box, nearly, nearly dropping it and sending all those poor unsuspecting kittens to a certain death, but manages to steady it in time. ]

...didn't I say not to bring me anything weird?

[ Poking open the box, and-- kittens. Kittens? ]

Why don't you take care of them for me, then? Chrome likes cats, doesn't she?

Me? Taking care of kittens? Really, that's a silly idea.

It doesn't matter. Play with them, train them, outfit them with explosives?

I should make you responsible for them. [ Mukuro's the one who picked them up, after all. ]

[ Well, well, if it isn't his favourite person ever strolling through the streets of Rome, just barely in Byakuran's eyesight as he spots the back of Mukuro's head and those terribly recognisable tufts of hair on his head.

And, well, Byakuran's never one to pass up on a chance like this, so stalking is a get!! Will be coming up behind Mukuro know, and invading his personal space bubble, swinging an arm over his shoulders affably. ]

[Well that's a bit startling, and he very nearly drops the box in an automatic motion to go on the defensive. Instead though, he simply clutches it more tightly, crushing the edges slightly and putting on a sly smile.]

It isn't the walk that's the problem. It's the destination. [He'll step away now, intending to turn away from the route to the base at the next possible turn.]
