[Honestly Kariya, don't you know how bodies work? Tokiomi sighs, lamenting the lack of basic textbook knowledge, and opens his own lunch. He is going to sit and eat daintily and not make a mess. Like a proper gentleman.]

[Meanwhile, Kariya has arranged himself to accommodate a sandwich in one hand while he looks through the day's pictures and gets crumbs all over his lap]

It's nice to be able to mess around with someone, he thinks, even if it's someone like Tokiomi, who's seemingly impossible to see eye to eye with. Most days he goes between odd passivity and stubborn grumpiness. Sometimes people were hard. Family doubly so... triply so... exponentially so.
