[On the bright side of things, the very idea of a "castle" is actually more comfortable to Diarmuid than the big cities of the Fourth War. Everything else aside, that's something he can get at least a little bit behind.

A knight must be able to adapt in any case, so he's content enough just getting by. Currently, he's heading outside with his spear over his shoulder, intending to get a work out.]

[And this pretty lady here is actually headed into the castle for some food after her own personal training session, but she's accidentally bumping into a certain knight on accident. That's what she gets for paying too much attention to this entry in the journal and not enough to what's in front of her!]

[Her weight isn't enough to make him stumble more than a half-step, but he's certainly surprised. He was a bit lost in thought himself. He covers for it with a soft laugh, and lifts a hand as if ready to steady her should she actually fall.]

[Oh, that's a reaction he's seen before. But acting cool is the best thing to do, so that's exactly what he does. Hopefully the effect this time will be minimal, if anything.]

Such a peaceful days does lend to letting one's guard down.

Um ... yeah. [She laughs a little, tucking her bangs behind her ear.] Still, sorry about that ...

[She'll eye the spear he's holding, then] Were you going to train?

I was. It wouldn't do to let my skills rust, little as I must use them right now.

You'd be surprised. [Since there's definitely times when there's an enemy to fight around.] Are you some kind of warrior, then?

Wow, a knight? [She smiles] It's nice to meet you, too. I'm Ino. [ ... No fancy titles. Just Ino. Welp.]
