CHARACTER
NAME: Spitfire
SERIES: Air Gear
TIMELINE: ch. 161, after leaving Kazu to return to the fight with Sora & Nike
BACKGROUND: Air Gear Wiki Entry should do it. A full write-up can be found here if needed.
ABILITIES: Spitfire's abilities lie mainly in speed. Faster than any other rider, Spitfire is able to tear up such intense heat from the friction of his AT on the ground that it causes the illusion of roaring flames. He's also able to "stop time", a trick mastered by his former protege Sano Yasuyoshi, by simply going so fast that it causes time lag in his opponent's brain. On a purple physical level, he can also use his speed to increase the force and number of physical kicks and punches that he can inflict on someone, though his pure strength isn't the best due to his light build.
PERSONALITY: Spitfire's personality is easiest to explain broken into three layers. First, the front he puts up to strangers and those he wants to impress. He's serene, graceful, impressive. When he fights it's like watching the flames - beautifuly coiling through the air with a deceptive softness, only to burn like hell on contact. When people first meet Spitfire, they immediately know they're looking at a King, and generally they act accordingly. It's easy to follow someone who can predict the way you'll act up to months in advance once he gets to know you, after all. He reads people like open books.
Underneath that is the personality he shows to his friends. This is the kind, gentle person who charms the young girls as he works in his always fully-booked hair salon. This is the silly young man who comes across as flamboyant, and pretty damn homosexual until he makes a comment about scantily clad women. He puts on a fake serious face and shouts the most absurd things at inappropriate times, and is the sort of person to wear one earring and have a big furry ruff on your coat as a mandatory part of his team uniform. This Spitfire is easy to love, as his girlfriend Ine does deeply, as do his close friends, and it's this Spitfire that shone when he was younger.
Deep down, though, is yet another side. Despite his bravado, Spitfire is actually lacking in confidence. When he fought Kilik he didn't keep up the hope of winning - he resigned himself to losing, as he did with Sora years later. When he lost his regalia, it took the support of a large number of people to convince him that he was worth following and deserved to get his title back at all. Without them, he would have given up, and it's those memories that keep him going throughout the series. Also, it's this thoughtful, tender side that wishes only to be needed by someone that chooses Kazu as his replacement. He sees himself in the boy, and knows that even without believing you're the best, the determination and passion for riding that they both have is the real qualification for being the Flame King.
STATUS: He'll be a new arrival~ :>

Some of that's pretty old, but I don't intend to play him any differently really, so it should suffice I hope. If not, I'll be glad to go do some museboxing or your Side B thing.

[ CHARACTER INFORMATION ]
Name: Cyril Kamelot
Age:
Gender: Male
Fandom: D.Gray-man
Timeline: ch. 194, mid-explosion
History: http://dgrayman.wikia.com/wiki/Cyril_Kamelot
Character Personality: Cyril's personality is divided into two faces: the one he shows to the world, and the one he shows to his "family", the fellow Noahs. These two personalities are much less separated and defined than one might expect, as the outward one is merely a reined-in and acted cover over the truth that lies beneath.
Outwardly, Cyril is a polite, well-mannered gentleman and minister of an unnamed country. He has a frail, quiet wife and an adopted daughter (secretly another of the Noah family, Rhode). His country is at war with another, and on the surface he is working towards ending it, though his fake persona does have a hot temper which eventually ruins these efforts. Still, he commands the loyalty of his subordinates, who would and do take bullets for him. He attends parties and keeps up his social profile, thus making him not in the least bit suspect amongst his fellow aristocracy.
However, underneath that surface of well-liked politician and family man is something quite a bit darker. Cyril has no love for the rest of the human race, following without question the Earl's plans and orders to kill people in mass numbers. In fact, he takes a sadistic pleasure in his real job, and will be sure to make everyone one of his victims suffer before they die, just for his own amusement. He is not a nice man, and has no qualms taking hostages and emotionally toying with people as well.
With the other members of the Noah family, though, Cyril shows his oddness in a more light-heated manner. He's a bit of a dork with them, and more than a bit of a pervert. He'd admitted that he enjoys the fantasy roleplay of having Rhode as his cute daughter, and that Tyki's beauty is also arousing to him. Though he never goes past teasing and the occassional nosebleed, his appreciation of cuteness and beauty is blatant for all of his beloved family to see.
Character Abilities: Cyril's abilities haven't been entirely explained yet in canon, but as a Noah by default his body is faster, stronger, and generally better than a normal human's, though not to an extreme quality. Also, he uses invisible strings to turn people and objects into his own puppets. He doesn't have to be directly near you to do it, either -- his radius seems to span an entire large building at least, and he can cause someone to move in any way he choses, up to and including breaking someone's bones without touching them or causing people to strangle themselves. He can control inanimate objects as well, but his preference and strength seems to be in controlling human beings. Also, as a Noah, he can switch between his normal-looking form and a darker-skinned appearance with the signature crosses of the Noah on his forehead. In Cyril, unlike a certain other Noah of note, however, his personality doesn't seem to change with this physical change.
Character Weaknesses: Though there are no canon fears or physical weaknesses in particular for Cyril, his personality is full of flaws that would make it hard to work with others. He also isn't the bulkiest of men, so odds are he'd be at a disadvantage in close combat
[ WEAPON SECTION ]
Why your character should be a Weapon: Because Cyril's abilities lie in the use of invisible strings, I feel that he could make a good weapon. He doesn't fight directly much that we've seen, though he is capable of it, and since his abilities lie so much in the imagery of "strings", even his emotional manipulation skills, that using that as a weapon form would make an ideal trasfer of his abilities and traits into something compatible with this world.
What is your character's Weapon form?: As a weapon, Cyril will take the form of a set of marionette strings -- an x-shaped piece of wood with five strings attached, so it is all one piece.
In this form, his abilities from canon will be somewhat recreated. A meister would be able to use Cyril to control the body parts of an enemy, or to move inanimate objects. The strength of the string's hold and how heavy an object / how strong an enemy they woud be able to move would depend on his resonance with the meister and the strength of their combined souls. While not directly offensive, this would allow an enemy to be immobilized or moved in a way to benefit the offensive members of a team.
In extreme situations the string could be used to injure or kill by way of moving the body in an unnatural way. This would suit Cyril's own sadistic nature, but might be a bit much for some meisters, requiring Cyril's partner to have a certain level of strength of will or even coldness.
Due to the nature of the weapon, Cyril will not be able to partially transform. He'll require a wielder to fight as well.
[ SOUL INFORMATION ]
Soul Description: manipulative, cruel, chipper, confident, selfish, loyal
Soul Appearance: A middling grey-blue, looking a little creepily cheerful in the deviously excited sort of way. An almost perverted expression, and with the impression of a cross on the forehead in brighter colour.

First Person: Well, this is beyond my expectations. It's lovely here, in a strange sort of way. Of course, helping to save the world is... well. I'll play along for now, I suppose. In the meantime, I might as well enjoy myself. I've seen quite a few interesting people around, after all. Count me intrigued.
Third Person: People watching, Cyril told himself, was a hobby that required so much more skill than most people put into it. The average people-watcher, for example, would ask themselves simple questions. "How old is he?", they'd think. "Is she married? Is that her sister or her mother?" Or even something as simple as "Are those last season's shoes?" But Cyril Kamelot was a much better people-watcher, and those questions were just the tip of the iceberg of how much he could figure out by watching people. It was a skill all politicians needed, after all. No matter how many akuma he could put into service, there would always be real people to deal with, and to maneuver correctly in the upper circles of society one had to learn to read those around them.
And so, at parties, that's what he did. Let Ticky have the dances (though he did appreciate those beautiful girls he danced with), the flirts, the up-and-close preening between aristocrats. Cyril would sit back, enjoy the presence of his cute daughter when possible, and watch. This was how he found out who was keeping a mistress, who was trying to marry off a son or daughter, who was in ill health physically or socially. It was how he knew who to blackmail, who to pursue as a political ally, and who it was safe to snub.
But as skilled as he might be at manipulating, he was relieved when the party was over and he could go home to his false quiet life, with his timid wife, his big white dog, his adopted daughter and his extended family. There, he could be cheerful and chipper, and it was relaxing as he walked down the halls of his mansion towards the beautifully manicured garden. There was a swing in his step and a whistle on his lips, and the sun playing through the windows made him as perky as any normal human being would be. No one would ever guess that he was on his way to plan the destruction of thousands of lives.
But they were unimportant lives. As much we he knew them, as much as he could be said to feel affection for them, they were like cattle. They were dim, unaware of the higher powers moving around them, and in the name of the ruin of this broken world he was glad to throw them to the proverbial wolves. The thought brought a devious smile to the corners of his lips as he threw open the doors and stepped out into the picture perfect lawn. He was off to engineer a massacre.
