Rainy Days are for Staying Indoors

[Several days after this incident, Mukuro has returned to Japan. It's rainy there today, and after returning to the apartment he and his companions have been renting, he's headed to the Vongola base. Rain is nice, in some ways, washing away the dirt from things. But at the same time it's dreary and tiring and he's enjoying the prospect of getting inside after a brisk walk under a flimsy umbrella. Of course he'll stop to pick up a snack -- chocolate filled pastries, for his own taste -- and meander a bit despite the weather. Being in the base always reminds him of the necessity of working with the mafia, and how much he loathes doing so.]

[ He's not the only one running away from work today- Tsuna's wandering out in the rain after the excuse of visiting his mother as a way to leave. Of course, some things never change and he's left his umbrella behind. He's alone (Gokudera-kun was off on some job or another),all but soaked to the bone, and still walking slowly through the streets, head in the clouds. ]

[Ah, just who he was on his way to see. Mukuro weaves his way through the crowd to stand beside Tsuna. He doesn't really hold the umbrella out though. Tsuna's already soaked and he'd prefer not to be the same.]

Well well, look who we have here.

[ Ever the gentleman, Mukuro. ]

--asdlkjsdg [ Caught by surprise for a second, he whips around to stare at Mukuro blankly, before an uncertain smile crosses his face. ]

Oh, it's you.

[Of course. :> At least he's offering you a pastry?]

And where are you off to?

[ ...is something wrong with it. ]

[ takes it ): ]

Hmm? Well, I thought I'd surprise you, of course.

[ He's- a little uneasy, but nothing of it shows on his face. ]

Of course. Though it might be prudent to get out of the rain soon. Your body won't be worth taking if you ruin it with illness.

It's enough. [stops in his tracks suddenly, looking up at the sky. The rain clouds are starting to break up~]

I think I'll be going home now. Do dry off soon, hm?

[ Leaving so soon? ]

[looks at Tsuna for a bit, then hands him his umbrella. Just in case. After that he turns to walk away, letting himself get wet in the remainder of the bad weather.]

CHASES HIM DOWN and splashes through puddles and grabs his sleeve ]

Wait--

[stops when Tsuna grabs his sleeve, and turns to give him a calculated bored look.]

Yes?

[ all out of breath and everything ): ]

Come-- back- [ BREATHING ] to--

[ the base? ]

Hm? Come back to what? The base? You? I think I'll just be going where I said I'd be going.

Please.

[ brushes hair and water out of his eyes ]

You'll get sick, too.

[Looks at Tsuna for a little bit, contemplating. Finally he shrugs.]

If you insist.

[ victoryyyy \o/ ]

Come on. [ LEADING HIM TOWARDS DRY FLOORS AND FLUFFY BLANKETS ]

[Does not understand why Tsuna is so happy about this. =| But he will follow anyway~ It'll be sunny by the time they get back, too.]

[ OKAY here! Found towels and throwing one at Mukuro- towelling off! ]

[Catches the towel and rubs his face with it, then tries to dry off at least enough not to be dripping anywhere.]
