On the one hand, it's great. The fact that his parents agreed to it -- that they surprised him with it, even -- was a phenomenal miracle. And of course he's always missed Mikado. Of course he's excited to see him. There's a special place in his heart for the best friend he grew up with, there's no denying that.
But... This isn't really the best place for a kid like Mikado. Around him isn't the best place. He might behave at school enough to get decent grades, for his family's sake, but he's not a good kid. His name is well known. How is he going to keep Mikado out of trouble, when he's living with the head of a gang that's pretty much running the youth side of the city underworld?
Jeez, what a pain... Well, if he can't keep dumb, he'll just have to end up protecting him. But that's a bridge they'll cross when they come to it. For now he's just got to get the kid home. And that means showing up at the station all kinda of chipper, then standing and waiting with a big grin on his face and his hands in his pockets, wondering if the little nerd will even be able to spot him in the crowd.]
