He wants to cling to Mikado and beg him to understand. But there's no point in doing either. One of both or them is about to die. Knowing that, in this moment, he hates and loves the person in front of him with equal intensity, and both are enough alone to blame for the way his voice strains and cracks and his eyes well up with tears.]
